The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario hears applications from individuals who believe their rights under the Ontario Human Rights Code have been violated. These rights include protection from discrimination and harassment based on:

What is the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO)?

How long do I have to file a human rights complaint?
You generally have one year from the date of the last alleged discriminatory act to file an application with the HRTO. There are some exceptions, but it’s important to act quickly.
